Sobre nosotros

An evening to experience the richness of Turkish cuisine and the art of baklava For over 180 years, the Güllü Family has been perfecting the art of baklava — a legacy that began in Gaziantep in the 1800s. Karaköy Güllüoğlu opened Istanbul’s first baklava shop, setting the standard for quality and tradition. Today, under the leadership of Murat Güllü, the 6th generation and General Manager, this legacy continues at the world’s first baklava factory in Karaköy, preserving a taste perfected across generations. For only 2 days Murat Güllü joins us at Belly Pepper to share the history and culture of baklava , offering guests a rare opportunity to experience the story behind Turkey’s most cherished dessert. To celebrate this cultural exchange, Chef Esra Acar Koç will present a specially curated menu that captures the depth of Turkish flavors and their modern expression.
